OKB-111: Resolving problems with activaction, Server Unavailable
Onfolio activation requires that your computer be able to communicate with the activation server (activation.onfolio.com). The communication is done with web-services messages over port 80. In some cases this communication can be blocked by a personal firewall (e.g. ZoneAlarm) or a corporate firewall.
To a resolve connetion problems:
- Check to see if you can connect to the activation server through a browser by clicking this link: http://activation.onfolio.com
- If you see "OK" in your browser you can connect successfully, but the web services calls are being blocked, see the instructions below on using our Simple Activation kit.
- If you do NOT see "OK" in your browser when you click the link above, but you can see other pages on the web, then our activation server is down. Try again in a day.
- If you do NOT see "OK" in your browser when you click the link above, and you cannot navigate to other pages on the web, than your Internet connection is not working properly and you should speak with your ISP.
Activate with the Simple Activation kit:
- Click here for the Simple Activation kit if you are using Onfolio 1.03, or here if you are using Onfolio 2.02.
- Open the Zip file and open the README.txt file.
- Follow the instructions in the README file. Using the Simple Activation kit will only take a few minutes, and should allow you to activate.,
