OKB-123: Poor performance in Onfolio for users of Norton Antivirus
Some users of Nortion Antivirus 2004 and 2005 have reported that they are experiencing poor performance while working in Onfolio. This will only occur if you have Nortion Antivirus configured to 'scan within compressed files'.
This is occuring because Norton is trying to scan your collection and feed files after you make any changes. As your files become larger, this delay can become longer.
There are two solutions to this problem:
Disable scanning of compressed files
You can disable scanning of compressed files (WARNING: This will affect the scanning of non Onfolio compressed files)
To accomplish this, you can deselect 'scan within compressed files' in the 'Auto-Protect' section of Norton Antivirus options.
Add .cfs to the exclusions list
You can add .cfs to the exclusions list (this prevents Norton from scanning all .cfs format files)
To accomplish this, you can select 'exclusions' in the 'Auto-Protect' section of Norton Antivirus options and then add an exclusion for "*.cfs".
